This one is mostly for current and interested families, and it will hopefully answer a lot of your questions about TCTC 2024!

New Family Lottery is Open!

If you are new to TCTC, you may now put your name(s) into the New Family Lottery!

From the website:

New families can fill out this form to be placed into the lottery for open spots in our 2024 program. If your number is called you’ll be given the link and password to fill out the official registration. You’ll have 72 hours to fill out the registration and make the deposit before we move on to the next number. We’ll start pulling numbers on Sunday, February 4th with any more registrations taken in the order that they were received.

Returning families should NOT put their names into the lottery. You have until 12:01AM on February 4th to put your names on the list at which point it’ll be frozen and we’ll start pulling names at random from the pool. Click below to go to the lottery:

Dates

Working around the public school calendars has become tricky over the last few years and as a result we’ve had to re-think our traditional TCTC calendar. We’ve shifted things a bit this year in hopes that we can accommodate all of our students from different schools while still keeping our schedule within the same basic timeframe as normal. The dates below are not confirmed, but are highly likely. Here’s the schedule from our artistic director, Ellen Fenster:

First day of camp: June 17th

Juneteenth Holiday, NO CAMP: June 19th
Fourth of July Holiday NO CAMP: July 4-5

*Tentative* Performance Dates and times: FRIDAY July 19th, 12pm Matinee, 7pm Evening Performance. SATURDAY July 20th,  12pm Matinee
*Tentative* Last Day of Camp July 20th

Camp takes place M-F 8:00-3:00. There is no after-camp care.

Venue and Tuition

Our host for the last two years, Richfield High School, is undergoing renovations this summer, and as a result we are searching for a venue for 2024. We are working on finding a venue in the central metro again to best serve our families from across the cities. We’ll update you on this newsletter as soon as we secure a venue, which we hope to do very soon. We will be holding tuition steady this year at $1400.

Once we have our group settled for the summer, you’ll be receiving emails directly from Ellen and Gianna so make sure that you’ve added the TCTC emails to your contact list.
